Literature Text

Had there not been cast a veil over the eyes of many, would we all be just as easily blinded by our own wills? To wear one's heart on their sleeve whilst it sway be no different than to court an uncertain existence? Be it as it may, to call the lips of a seductress that seeks to crush the heart of whomever it can grasp, tender, is a fool's fate. Only those who acknowledge that there is no such farce as a tomorrow but that the present is the only gift given to us may be the ones to truly see what lies beyond the barriers that lie so close. Barriers, that shield us from what goes bump in the night, but for moments at a time, they themselves plunge us into darkness.

Look past the shadow that looms over and dream to your heart's content, after all, there is only a  today.
